Do you operate 24 hours?

Yes, Airport Taxi Cab Services are open 24 hours, you can call for instant taxi service or make an appointment for future pick up. The phone lines are 24 hours and online reservations are available 24/7. We recommend making reservations online.

What are your rates?

Taxi meter rates are decided by the city we operate in. Its a misconception of the people that taxi rates are decided by taxi cab company. No, its not right. Most of the bay area cities have a meter rate of $3 flag drop and $3 a mile, it doesn't include your waiting and traffic delay charges that's 35$ an hour.

Specials requests: $10 extra for mini van or child seat

Please note we don't charge any extra amount or surcharge, if are coming from the airport. SFO SJC OAK airport taxicabs do charge extra amount and surcharge which most of the people don't even know.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, We do. Airport taxicab company accepts the following credit cards:

  • MasterCard
  • Visa
  • Discover
  • Gift Cards of Airport Taxi Cab


You can also use your traveler check or cash. No personal checks accepted. The passenger can prepay or use the credit card in the taxicab.

Does your taxi cab company provides Baby Seats at airport like SFO SJC OAK?

Yes, Airport Taxi Cab Services provides you baby seats like infant seats, toddler seats at SFO San Francisco, SJC San Jose, OAK Oakland airports. When you make a reservation mention if you need a baby seat, write the age and weight of child. There is a $10 extra charge for each baby seat requested. Please note if you land at SFO airport, the taxis do not carry baby seat, so you will require to reserve the taxi with a baby seat.

What if my flight is delayed or comes early?

When you make your reservation, we take your flight name and number. We always keep the track of the flight. You don't have to worry about if the flight is coming early or late. Make a reservation and just call us asap after you land.

How does your taxi pick up the passenger at SFO San Francisco Airport, SJC Airport, OAK Airport?

You make your email, online reservation in advance, send us the following information:

  • Name of the passenger
  • Date and Flight number
  • Which airport do you need a pick up at?
  • Destination
  • Number of people and bags

If you require a mini van or baby seats please mention that as well.


SFO SJC OAK airport taxicab pick up procedure:

When you passenger lands at the airport, have the passenger call us at 650-755-1234 or Toll Free: 1-888-833-7575 it confirms the passenger did not miss the flight. If you don't have phone please go to information desk, call us from there.

After grabbing the luggage the passenger needs to call us again, At that time we will provide the scheduled taxi cab number to the passenger, and the passenger needs to go in front of the taxi cab line and wait the for the scheduled taxicab number. The general wait time after you call is 5-10 minutes.

What is the best way to avoid a no show?

The best way to avoid a no show of a taxi is that you reconfirm your ride 20 minutes before you scheduled, that way we reconfirm your reservation details and dispatcher puts more attention on the call and keep an eye on the driver until he doesn't pick you. But its always your duty to call us if your cab is not there at the scheduled time because there are chances that we have a wrong phone number or the taxi may have hard time reaching your number.

Also its not possible for us to call each customer every time 30 minutes before and reconfirm, you can call us and that's no problem.

When you call and confirm, it gives you surety that your cab is coming, and it gives us surety that we have right information, its a WIN-WIN situation and you get the best customer service.


Do you offer student discounts or senior citizen discounts?

Doesn't matter to us if you are a student from Berkley University, De Anza, Foothill, San Jose State or Stanford at least, you are a student..we will give you student discount! You will get 10% discount every time you travel with us to and from the airport. Student Discounts are valid only on meter price, not on special discounted prices, or flat rates.

Its valid for ever. Applicable on meter pricing only, Can't combined with existing deals or discounts.

Student discount are not offered to students residing in San Francisco to SFO Airport, San Jose to SJC, Oakland to OAK Airport.

What should i do if i don't get the email confirmation?

If you don't get the email confirmation, check your spam box. Its the confirmation is still not there then please make us a call at: 650-755-1234 after 15 minutes of your reservation. Please note we always always check our email. If you are booking your taxi online, you will surely get your taxi.

Instant Taxi Confirmations, when book online are available: 24 hours instantly.

Slow response Email Confirmations are available: 12 AM to 4 AM

If i am paying by cash, do i get a receipt?

You pay cash, credit or by check. Airport Taxi Cab drivers always provide you the paper receipt. If somehow you forgot to get a receipt. Not get a e-receipt online, just fill out the form, some one from our staff will send you the e-receipt.

Does Airport Taxi Cab Services charge luggage fees?

There is no additional charge no matter how many bags in a taxi cab. However if you need a bigger car like minivan or SUV then there is $10 additional charge.

eg: If there is 2 people 4 big bags can easily fit in a taxi. But if there are 2 people and 8 big bags it won't fit in cab you will be required to have a minivan or SUV.

What is the pet policy in taxis?

If you have pet, our taxi services offer pet friendly taxicabs. Mention in advance that you have pet. Pet must be kept in carrier. $10 extra to carry your pet, we will send minivan / suv for you. Mini Van is also additional $10

I was picked up at airport, i lost my luggage in the taxi?

Luggage lost, laptop lost, phone lost in taxis are generally hard to recover. Here is some information that can be helpful.

Lost and Found (Mon - Fri: 7am - 6pm, 2nd Floor above main lobby)
Contact the Lost and Found office at (408) 277-5419. For items lost during flight, contact the specific airline. 


Stuff lost in one of our taxi companies' driver:

Fill out online lost and found form, provide us your pick up date and time, taxi driver name, color of cab, cab number, if possible name of taxi company.




The taxi driver offered me his/her personal number. What should i do?

For your privacy, we recommend not calling the driver personally. That way driver is stealing the business and also kills the business for other cab drivers. We highly encouraged you to keep the number of the taxi service you are calling and call the company directly always. Why? Because we have staff sitting in front of computer and taking care of reservations 24 hours. A taxi driver can not be up all of 24 hours.

Does your taxis accept airline vouchers?
Yes, Airport Taxi Cab Services do accept airline vouchers from all major airlines only from SFO Airport and SJC Airport. We also accept AMEX, VISA, MASTERCARD vouchers. The airline directly needs to call us and create voucher under our company name. Call 650-366-9999 for more information.
How should i make a complaint or comment about a taxi driver?

Airport Taxi Cab Services is a taxi call center, who works with local independent self - employed taxi drivers. The taxi drivers are usually working for other taxi companies. If you have any complaints about any thing, please email us at: info@airporttaxicabservices.com or Fill out the following form: Rate your taxi driver

We do take complaints and comments seriously. Please note down: Name of your taxi driver, Cab Number, Color and Name of the cab company.

I need to advice something about your website, how can i do it?

The admin for the website can be reached at info@airporttaxicabservices.com , you may advice anything you like or dislike about the website. If you have any advice, suggestions about the website, you are most welcome to do so.

Can I take a taxi with a baby?

If you are found riding with your child in a taxi without a car seat, you (Parents) will be fined $100 for 1st offence and $250 for second offence. You can request a taxi with child seat by booking up front. Please note that taxis at SFO do not carry child seats, please make sure you prebook it. We provide you taxi with child seat with additional cost of $10 only!




Effective January 1, 2017 - Children under 2 years of age shall ride in a rear-facing car seat unless the child weighs 40 or more pounds OR is 40 or more inches tall. The child shall be secured in a manner that complies with the height and weight limits specified by the manufacturer of the car seat.
